Stock up on quick tasty favorites. Once you know what tastes good and satisfies your cravings but is still healthy, stock up so you always have a go-to healthy snack or quick meal.
My favorites are a serving of almonds, apples with peanut butter, whole wheat toast with honey, avocado, and butterscotch snack pack size puddings. It keeps me from feeling deprived and also keeps me away from less healthy snacks.

ALWAYS in my pantry: canned: pumpkin, beans, tomatoes, salsa, whole wheat pasta, brown rice & assorted packed in juice fruits..fiber-one cereal is great for a meal, and when crushed, is a GREAT substitute for (regular) bread crumbs.
