Peanut Sauce

1/3 Cup Natural Peanut Butter
1/3 Cup Water
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Teaspoon Sugar
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
2-3 Shakes of Cayenne to taste

Place all ingredients in a bowl, stir well, and microwave for 30 seconds.

More Information:

I take a 14 oz. bag of coleslaw mix, about 1/3 a bag of shredded carrots and a couple sliced green onions. Mix this with the peanut sauce for a delicious and healthy Asian coleslaw.

    I posted these before I started on SparKPeople. Now I might make some substitutions to lower fat, sugar and salt (Splenda, low-sodium soy sauce, low-sugar ketchup) ---and I never figured out the nutrients because I wasn't paying attention. The peanut sauce is the 3rd recipe listed on that page & is followed by the story of its popularity at an art show opening reception. - by STORMY724
