I don't like really cold water, so when at home or at work I pour 16-32 oz in a big glass and drink it as it starts to get closer to room temp. I will drink more at a temp that isn't cold on my mouth than if it is ice cold. I do anything to make sure I get my water in!

Having very sensitive teeth I can not drink ice cold water, so I have found keeping a pitcher of water on the counter encourages me to drink my 8 glasses a day.

Losing weight and getting the right amount of food
I have found that if I drank a cup of milk 15 min. before my meal I felt fuller faster. If I don't have milk, drink room temp water, warmer water aides in digestion. Plus use those kiddie bowls with separations on them they work great for getting the right proportion's.
Mix up your exercise routine it will help you from getting bored and it will help keep up your motivation.

Also eat 6 smaller meals per day, break it down to 3 main meals and 3 snacks.
Everyone, myself included lug around their water bottles, and I rarely see anyone take a sip. So while at work, I bought myself a nice stemmed glass, and pour my ice cold water into the glass. Makes me feel like drinking it and seems much more manageable. Being cold adds to calorie loss!
