Keep a sample body lotion in your purse for a convenient pick-me-up after washing hands when at work or out doing errands. A tiny hotel lotion or moisturizer makes a unique functional souvenir from a memorable vacation and you can refill the container from a full size hand lotion.
I joined Weight Watchers over two years ago. I lost 90% of my weight through them and still practice many of their ideas. One I truly love is the Three Bite Rule. When we crave something the first bite is really memorable. The second bite is almost as memorable as the first. The last bite savory and sums up the memory. Therefore all we need are three bites. Not diet is ever broken over three bites.
Upon opening the refrigerator to mindlessly graze, ask: "Do I really need to eat right now, or am I snacking because I'm stressed, tired, or bored?" If it's really the scheduled time to snack, choose a healthy snack instead of the comfort food. If not, choose to shut the door instead of sabotaging the development of healthy new eating habits.
This prevents me from ruining the progress I have made with healthy new eating habits
