I really hate wasting food. Given a choice between wasting and shoving that last morsel down my throat I would eat that last bite (or even the last serving) rather than waste it. THROW IT AWAY! If it can be saved I save it, but if my ONLY 2 choices are eating it or pitching it, I now choose to pitch.
Always eat with a fork when possible. You can't shovel the food in as quickly. And when you're eating things like yogurt, you're unable to scrape every last bite...so you're saving teeny calories here and tehre!
