"So I'm skipping my workout today because I'm going to this 30 Seconds To Mars concert tonight"... That's what I told myself. ACTUALLY I probably got more of a workout at the concert. So, if you are a person who loves rock shows, REALLY get into it. You can even push and shove your way to the front as much as you can. Plus jumping and dancing for 2 hours straight is both fun AND a calorie burner. 335
Side note: not a good idea if you can't handle crowds and/or other sweaty people around you :-/ Same goes for clubbing!
When I find myself making excuses, I remind myself that I'm a member of the BIDIA club: But I Did It Anyway! This helps to keep me on track, even when I'm feeling less than enthusiastic about the challenges I'm facing that day.

Cut Juice with Water or Club Soda/Seltzer/Sparkling Water
Juice can be high sugars and calories. However, if you cut it with water, it lasts longer, tastes less sweet, but just as satisfying, and keeps those calories in check. Instead of water, use club soda for a great soda substitute! I now only use a splash of juice for flavor.
This works for lemonade, or even sodas cut with club soda.
