I aim to get all the points I can each day for one important reason (besides being competitive). The point system makes sure I am tracking, reading, learning, sharing, giving, goal-oriented, eating well and exercising. In other words, I keep myself "balanced" by doing all of the "sparkpoints".

The point system is set up to keep you motivated, connect with others, and feel good about yourself. Take advantage of all of the features the site has to offer. Try to get at least 1 point in all point categories each day. Results will follow!
I have an addictive personality, so I tend to "overdo" things sometimes. However, I've been using this to my advantage since joining SP. I log in EVERY day because I want to earn my points. I constantly check my daily food consumption (via iPhone) and exercise because I am addicted to knowing where I stand for the day. I have basically found myself avoiding my previous addiction - Facebook because my time is otherwise occupied reading, learning and tracking my goals!189
