Jogging In Place

Anytime I have just a few minutes, on commercials, even right after using the restroom before flushing and walking out into the feront room, I jog in place for a minute. It raises my heart rate and wakes my body up to get my blood flowing and my heart beating. emoticon

Comfortable shoes, preferably tennis shoes.

    I often jog in place while waiting for something cooking on the stove, waiting for my tea to brew, or when getting ready for bed in the bathroom ~ I jog in place to take the pedometer to the next level, be it 100, 200, 300 steps.

    Oh I just love jogging in place,I just finish watching the biggest looser and I jog in place for one full hour and walk for one hour, I love it, emoticon emoticon

    That IS a great idea! I sometimes do strength training in front of the TV as well.

    Good idea - every little bit helps. I do squats every time my two cats want to go outside or inside, but jogging in place is a good alternative to keep it from getting boring! emoticon

    Yep, every bit of fitness counts towards being healthy and fit.
If it isn't jogging on place, I do 40 squats and 40 jumping jacks on the hour when I am not busy doing something else. emoticon

    I am just getting over an attack of Gout in my feet and I sure miss jogging in place and doing squats. My back of my ankles are still a little tender and I am trying to take it easy but my body is calling for exercise! emoticon

    I do push ups, wall sit or walk around to put steps on pedometer when waiting for food or drinks to heat up in microwave, depending on time. Adds up!

    Yes, that is neat. I do exercise most every place. Odd places. My feet and ankles while I'm eating out. Driving my RV home, towing my car, interstate empty, boring. Ok so I can exercise one arm or leg at a time. It sure breaks up the boredom and getting stiff from a long drive.
I can think of all kinds of place to exercise so to make good use of my time. emoticon . emoticon
