Anytime I have just a few minutes, on commercials, even right after using the restroom before flushing and walking out into the feront room, I jog in place for a minute. It raises my heart rate and wakes my body up to get my blood flowing and my heart beating.
Comfortable shoes, preferably tennis shoes.

Students - need a break from studying for finals? Jog in place
Finals are coming up, so when I need to unwind and take a break, I jog in place using Wii Fit's Free Run for 10 minutes and watch a little bit of TV! I do this a few times a day and I feel refreshed after doing it. If you don't have a Wii/Wii Fit, you can jog in place anyway without it!
I used to mindlessly snack while watching TV. Now, I jog in place. I started out jogging through commercials. Now, I jog through the whole show. It gets my Fit Bit steps in, stops the snacks, and I feel more energy all the time. It's a win/win!
When I go grocery shopping, I jog in place while holding the shopping cart, and jog a little while walking the isles but i don't let go of the cart because i don't want to fall. People look at me weird BUT it is for MY benefit so I do not care 43. Plus my baby enjoys watching me. And i know i burn some calories.
