At my last job, I received a great annual bonus. Nearly everyone blew theirs on big-screen TVs, new cars, jewelry, etc. My husband & I bought 1 thing we needed & divided the rest between investments & paying extra on the mortgage. (We would have paid off credit card debt first, but didn't have any.)

I do not have good hearing and I want to protect what I have left of it,so, when I go to blow-dry my hair,I put in EARPLUGS in my ears. Then as I am blow-drying my hair,my ears are not subjected to the LOUD DECIBELS emanating from the blow-dryer! The blow-dryers today are WAY too loud and CAN damage your hearing over time [however--I did damage to my ears with too LOUD radio headphones in my youth!].
