Whenever you are counting your reps and you think you are finished, give yourself one more. I count this as "one to grow on" reminding myself that the extra rep is what will push that muscle a bit stronger.
When you push your muscles to their limits, when they recover and heal, they will be stronger.

If you stumble. If your boss is at your throat, or your significant other isn't being too pleasant and you eat your emotions, that's okay. We all stumble. TO LOSE weight, you need to realize it's normal. Get right back up and don't let that one stumble knock you down completely. You are your best friend, and in times of weakness no one can grow or move forward if you beat yourself up.
I find it more empowering to let my NO stay as NO when tempted with food after my calories are spent for the day. It's a battle of the will and the one that grows is the one used the most. Saying NO and sticking to it does get easier as you do it more.
