Keep oil bottles clean

Pouring from my olive oil bottle can cause drips to flow down the side of the bottle, making a mess. I solved this problem by setting the bottle on a folded square of paper towel, pulling the towel up around the sides of the bottle (as if you were wrapping a bottle of wine) and securing the paper towel around the bottle with a rubber band. The towel catches any drips that may occur. Change the towel every few months. Clean bottle and hands! :-)

Method to my Housekeeping Madness

I have finally gotten into a 10 minute routine with my bathroom and bedroom housekeeping. I have a set of cheap handtowels for housekeeping (in a different color). After my shower, I spritz the shower with my vinegar solution, sponge the wall and tub, straighten up, dry off the shower wall with my housekeeping hand towel, take that towel, go do the bed, take the same towel and do a quick dust, and straighten. My hair dries enough to cut my blow drying in half. More time for me 224

Wet Towel Management - no wet towels on floor or in hamper

House rules: ALWAYS hang up a wet towel. When you want a clean one - remove the dry dirty towel BEFORE the next shower and put in hamper. Each person has their assigned place on a towel rack. (e.g. mine is left side, main bath). You can change as often as you want, but towels in hamper are dry
