Instead of music I listen to audio books while working out. There's lots of places to get them free like a library or For me, it's motivation to workout because I'll want to know what happens next in the story. It's killing two birds with one stone; reading and exercising.

I do a lot of data entry at work and listen to them while I work and then it just overflows into my workouts. I get so into whatever I am listening to, that I don't realize how far I have walked.

Ah, another audio book listener, I find listening to an audio book while doing any chore or activity that takes little thought keeps me on track. I have been listening to them for years.

I *knew* there was a reason I downloaded books recently from Audible. Now I just need to figure out how to move them onto iphone or ipod etc. Thankx.

I've often wondered about this. It might work on the 'dreadmill' (!) for me, or equipment like that or a brisk walk, jog or run outside, but wouldn't be so good when doing all the other fitness exercises. Think I'll try it. Thank you.
FABISERVANTES83 10/1/2014 2:22:00 PM

    That's actually a great idea.

I listen to audio books, too. And I only let myself listen to them while I'm exercising, so there is an extra incentive.
LEANMEAN2 10/1/2014 5:48:00 AM

    I may try this.
