Listening to US army or marine corps cadences, at double time, is a great way to make a run go faster, to maintain your pace and have a really good workout. It helps me to extend my runs, and by responding to the cadences, I know I am on track for energy expenditure

    music can be a huge motivator . But if you don't feel like music, try a podcast. There are many free podcasts on national public radio . I like the radio lab shows

    Excellent Advice! I find that running to a cadence or to a song like reggaeton or samba (or some good electronic music) is the number 1 motivator for me as well. Thanks!
