I stay motivated by rewarding myself for success. The reward is always fitness oriented and is never food. Some of my rewards for reaching a goal are: a subscription to a health or fitness magazine, a new exercise tool, (weights, medicine ball, DVD, pedometer, etc.), workout clothes. The bigger the achievement, the bigger the reward!
How about changing this quote from, "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels" to Nothing tastes as good as improved health feels. ********** Do the math... Good nutrition + exercise + positive attitude = better health and great quality of life. What could be a greater reward for all our efforts?
