Everyone knows that at some point after the initial loss of weight that they run into a point where the weight doesn't come off, but is this really a plateau? If you measure yourself and not just weight yourself you can tell if the plateau is really you not losing weight or just gaining muscle. This added knowledge can help you better understand the plateau and figure out if you need to change your habits or if you are just gaining muscle and just need to keep on the path.
Positive self-talk helps break a physical plateau. I made an effort to change 5 things and get back on the workout track to break a plateau. Not only do I feel better mentally, but physically I am losing inches and once pounds. May not be able to move the plateau, but we can climb over it.
