We spend a lot of money at the grocery store, and as we all know, eating fresh fruits and vegetables is more expensive than buying junk. I hate wasting food, but when the fruit got overripe I would throw it away. Now I freeze it for use in bread or smoothies at a later date. Even fresh veggies from
the garden can be frozen for use in soups later. I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner!
