before serving myself again i question myself if i really need it. i remind myself to eat slow, put utensil down before next bite. i question my self if is really worth it.

MORE INFORMATION:
i stay motivated to stay on track because i do not deprive myself. I eat what i want, even if is just a spoonful. i have to remember that the first bite is the same as the last.

I used you tactic last night and you know what? It worked. I was sitting watching tv with my husband and he made popcorn. Well, I wasn't hungry, and I didn't want popcorn. What I thought I wanted was peanut butter and saltines. I kept asking myself "what do you want? To lose the weight that I have been working so hard to lose - or - the pb that won't let that happen (and pb is a HUGE trigger food for me!) After a few arguments with myself I felt better and proud that I didn't choose the pb! Thanks for getting your idea stuck in my head! emoticon
