I used you tactic last night and you know what? It worked. I was sitting watching tv with my husband and he made popcorn. Well, I wasn't hungry, and I didn't want popcorn. What I thought I wanted was peanut butter and saltines. I kept asking myself "what do you want? To lose the weight that I have been working so hard to lose - or - the pb that won't let that happen (and pb is a HUGE trigger food for me!) After a few arguments with myself I felt better and proud that I didn't choose the pb! Thanks for getting your idea stuck in my head!
