I keep a calendar on my wall. My fitness goal: 30 minutes minimum daily. As I have fibromyalgia, daily exercise was recommended by my doctors. Any day in which I do my 30 minutes or more, I give myself a sticker for the calendar. Yeah me! Really helps me see my commitment in action: all year long!
ps: I do any and every kind of exercise; walking, yoga, pilates, weight training, spinning class, belly dance, cardio salsa, zumba, swimming, hiking: anything at all: as long as it's 30 minutes minimum.
