Always shop with coupons. On average I save 15 to 25 dollars every two weeks by using coupons. But do not buy something you do not need or you wouldn't normally buy just because you have a coupon. That is a way to actually spend more money.

The vast majority of grocery items I buy -- produce, ground turkey, whole grain pasta and brown rice -- do not seem to have coupons. Are there coupons for these things that I just haven't found yet? The coupons I see in the newspaper insert and online are for the junk that we should not be eating. What are you getting coupons for?

Sign up with the grocerygame.com. I save 50% and more using the coupons in the Sunday paper. I buy 2 papers on Sunday to double my coupon savings. You get name brand merchandise as cheap or cheaper than store brands. I take the amount saved and put it in a savings account for a rainy day.
Every week I see the store savings and coupon savings on my grocery receipt and it's all lies. I didn't save anything. I just didn't spend it -- yet. So, after giving this issue some thought I decided that I would take this as a requirement for saving and transfer it to my savings account.
