Instead of watching the news I start my day off reading Spark people. I find that reading something new as well LEARNING something new benefits me greatly and inspires me to 'get going'.

I do the same thing, unfortunately SP takes up a great part of my morning when I should be doing something else. It's not a win win situation for me, but hey more power to you. Good luck and keep up the good work.

It's a lot more positive then the morning rehash of the negative stories that are reported more often than not!

Ditto to all the previous comments.

Looking at SP first thing in the morning, especially good because all bar one of my Friends lives several time zone differences away, and their messages, Friend Feeds, comments and mail tend to come in overnight and are there waiting for me when I wake. It all SPARKS me to have a good nutrition, exercise and tracking day.

SPark People is GOOD news! If you participate in the community it helps you as well as others. It's educational, informative, and can be lifesaving. What's better than that? It's so much better than the daily murder count or war news or other anxiety provoking rhetoric that greets us frst thing in the morning. I'd rather spend my time with friends. emoticon emoticon

I sign onto Spark every morning as well. I read what other people are up to and I update my status most days to re-affirm what 'moving' I am going to be doing that particular day and I track my minutes each day for another affirmation that I did what I said I was going to do. emoticon
