No matter what happens it is important for me to look at things in a different and positive way. The old "if life gives you lemons, make lemonade" attitude. If I gain weight, the gain is motivation to put in extra workout or be creative with my meals.
Another goal is to run in a marathon, and I know the feeling of exhilaration of passing the the tape will be enormous! Winning for me will be completing the first marathon. I add long-term goals every month--maybe someday I'll run 4 or 5 marathons just to get in the top 10,000 runners???
