If you can't keep that sweet tooth under control..chew gum!
My biggest stumbling block keeping me from losing weight was my sweet tooth and just mindlessly eating all day. I decided to try chewing gum as an experiment to prevent myself from eating when I'm craving something sweet. If I feel like I"m going to grab something to eat when I don't need it, I pop in a stick of gum instead and it satisfies my need to have something sweet and delicious in my mouth.
I have lost over 20lbs since I started doing this and it helped me regain my control over food. Also don't cheat on your food journal because you are only cheating yourself! I used to just guess and sometimes even put less than what I ate, and obviously I wasn't going to lose weight doing that!
always needed sweets everyday. I now have the 10 allowed dark chocolate almonds as my sweets for the day. I can grab one here and one there through out the day. one an hour would be sweets all day. 30 this is my secret to keeping away from bad sweets. one ounce of dark chocolate is good for the heart and almonds are also good for you. ENJOY.
