Try the interval program on the elliptical trainer. For 5 months I used the elliptical regularly in the 1 to 3 resistance level. I didn't think I could do more. Then I tried the interval program. I not only could I do it, but I burned far more calories than in the weight loss mode.
The interval program I use goes from level 3 to level 7 resistance. I use a stride of 26.

Two options: one low cal day, double exercise with intervals
1. For just one day, drop down to 500 calories. (Day before and day after would be normal intake.) This got me unstuck after two weeks of no change. (500 calories a day should never be standard fare) 2. Up your exercise. I went from 30 minutes to a half an hour, and did intervals (using the programs on my elliptical and recumbent bike) and this worked to knock me lose from another plateau
