Eating With Toddler Spoons

In order to force myself to eat slower and ENJOY my food, I choose to eat when possible (here at home, anyway) with one of my daughters' colorful toddler spoons. I take smaller bites, chew things up better before swallowing, and I feel as though I eat more simply because it takes me longer to eat.

  • This is a GREAT idea! I also bought some chop sticks to get me to eat slower! Had to watch youtube demo to learn to use them but I'm getting better with practice! emoticon - by NORTHWOODSMOM8
  • I did the same thing the other night when my husband was at work :D :D I laughed at myself for the first few bites, then I realized it took me longer to eat my yogurt, and I felt fuller and I didn't need to eat anything else :) :) - by NIKKIJEAN1022
  • I use a toddler spoon for eating my yougert and no sugar puddings. They do make the food last longer and I get more bites that way! Maybe I should try it with my cereal too! - by LWYZYKOWSKI
  • I'm so happy to know that I am not the only one who does this! - by RARANM
