I have been wanting a bread machine for quite awhile but they are too expensive brand new. I went to a second hand store today and bought one for $13 and so far it is working!!! I was able to find the manual on the internet. So far I am tickled pink with my purchase.

When I am in need of clothes or a household item (i.e. kitchen gadgets, plates, cups, storage containers, etc.) I shop the second hand store first. I can usually find what I need for 50% or more off from what I would pay brand new. I once got 5 pairs of jeans for $30, I would have paid $20-$40 each in store.
when i have a function to go to i go to a second hand store a couple of times before the function to see if i can find a nice dress for under $20 if i dont find one then i will shop in the dept store but i always find one & i always get compliments the dresses i find are beautiful and sexy 346
If you want to buy better quality clothes because they last longer and look better, or you find certain brands are the only ones that fit you well, try looking on Oxfam's second hand store website where you can search for particular brands and sizes, and you can specify brand new items still with tags on, so you can even get decent bras new at reduced cost- the range of sizes varies depending on what's been donated, but I have seen some of the harder to find sizes as well as the standard ones.
