There is another reason to having an active hobby such as gardening when older. It may be one way to keep your mind young. Studies show that older people that regularly indulged in gardening have a lower risk of dementia compared to non-active older people.

my rule of thumb, if i havent used it in 6 months, no matter what it is (clothes, makeup, etc) i throw it out or donate it...it keeps me from having excess stuff that i havent used in 5 years cluttering up for no reason...i figure if i havent used it in 6 months, i dont need it and its taking up space...im a neat freak though :)
