I use a pair of kitchen shears to make quick work of cutting up green onions. They also work great for cutting up fresh herbs.

    I use 3 pairs of kichen shears. One for poultry . one for none food and one for food.
We like cooked cabbage chopped small in several side dishes. After the cut cabbage is cooked to bright green in the microwave i chop it with the food shears So much easier if i hold it in the sink I am short so it is easy on the shoulders.
