Be careful not to drink your calories. A glass of orange juice or milk may be healthier for you than pop, but it has roughly the same amount of calories. Unless I know I'm not going to get to some whole fruit, or I need the calcium, etc., I stick to water as much as I can.

When I start telling myself that 10 minutes of exercise won't make a difference, I then say out loud, "it does more than ... sitting in front of the computer, sitting on the couch, eating that last whatever." 306
Sometimes it's hard for me to make sure I'm getting enough fruit & vegetable servings each day. I found that beverages such as low-sodium V8 juice or V-8 Fusion are a good way to increase my intake. Watch the calories, though, and use this as a supplement rather than your sole "produce" option!
