My DW and I would faithfully make lists of what we needed when we went shopping. About 75% of the time, the list remained on the table. We started using the NOTE function on our cell phones when we thought of something we needed. Since we "don't leave home without it", we never have to guess when

Making it EASIER to "Juice" the cell phone RIGHT away!
I get frustrated with trying to put the cell phone cord into the side of the phone to "juice" it up!So, I got a piece of leftover label tape [good adherer!] and taped the gold tape to the CORRECT SIDE of my cell phone cord and a MATCHING PIECE of gold tape to the cell phone itself [where you put it in-because with my eyesight now I can't always see it !]. Now it's EASY to juice up my phone instead of fumbling with it and trying to see which is the correct side to fit it in the phone to
juice it up! Also another tip~as soon as you remove the ignition key from the car, plug your phone in so it will be juicing at night and ready the next day. A simple thing to do ,but I don't always juice it as I drive[ with my preschooler in the car] so this helps me to remember!
Using an Android cell phone to track calories burned
I recently upgraded my phone to the HTC EVO phone which is an android based phone. If anyone else has an android based cell phone, you can download for free, programs to help track your workouts. I've been using Runstar. There are others out there, like CardioTrainer or SportsTracker.
It doesn't have to be an Android based phone, you might have an iPhone or a Palm Pre/Centro. There are applications for those phones too but I don't know if they are FREE.
Using Runstar & the GPS in my phone, I track my workouts, time, distance, average speed, and a google map of my route.
