ALWAYS read the labels on the foods you are picking up. I never thought much of a couple of items I ate regularly and then I read the nutrition label to find it contained over 700mg of sodium. Always read the nutrition lables, even if it does take more of your time. Your health is worth it.
Yes, if you read the label, it has added dextrose (sugar) in it. It may be a little bit but sugar is sugar. Reading labels is imperative these days no matter where you shop. Even some of the sea salts have this too so take care.
I found that pickling and canning salt is "just salt" and is less than $2/box. I think it is also kosher (thanks to the commenters tip).
