Cook up a big batch of SOMETHING when you have time. I particularly like things like soups and stews. You can freeze some and keep some in the fridge - that way, there is always something healthy at hand!

  • It surely has worked for me. I make ground chicken or ground turkey patties with lots of shredded spinash and bake them and then freeze them. I complete a full meal making a tomatoe-cauliflower salsa with added italian seasonings, it surely saves me a lot of time during the week. - by BRADIA

  • I'm wondering what soups or stews freeze best. If anyone has any suggestions, I could use some inspiration. I really need to do this as not having something quick and healthy on hand is usually my biggest problem with two small kids and a busy schedule. - by LISAZEEBEE
  • This is something I really want to start doing. It saves time during the week deciding what to make and what to eat. The clean up will be much faster. - by DONITA76
