I save $ by doi the majority of my grocery shopping online and having it delivered to my home. I have found this process quite helpful. -it totals as you put items in your basket -store coupons / deals are automatically given to you - online store coupons available - great selection
With this way of shopping you do it when you want, have it delivered when you want. There is a small delivery fee, but if you order over $150 you get delivery free (which is the case 99%of the time for me). I really like the way it totals as you go...no surprises at the checkout.

I LOVE to go grocery shopping and cooking. One way that I keep my grocery shopping in line with my diet is to 1) browse the online circular to see what is on sale. Writing out a shopping list helps me stay on track with buying what is healthy. 2) Always make sure I go shopping after eating.
When I go grocery shopping, I am surprised by the kinds of foods I don't buy anymore. Ice cream, chips, soda. I see them in other shopping carts & wonder why people are wasting their nutrition dollars on junk when they could have yogurt, oranges, and lemon water instead. My tastes HAVE changed!
How have you changed your grocery shopping habits?
I'm single and grocery shopping and cooking at home have always been my downfall. So I found this company called myfitfoods.com. They make healthy meals, most under 500 calories. It's cheaper then grocery shopping, you place an order online, ago pick it up for the week, it's all fresh organic.
It's also a lot healthier for me, and best of all I don't have to cook a single thing. When I get home from work and then school the last thing I want to do is cook, so most times I would grad drive-thru. This has cut all of that out. I feel like I'm eating out, but it's healthy. Awesome!
