The other day I heard a quote from the scholar Yasir Fazaga. It was so vivid that it has stuck in my mind and I keep repeating it each day to remind myself. here it is: "Watch your thoughts, they become your words. Watch your words, they become your actions. Watch your actions, they become your habit." I can relate to this quote in many ways, but for weight loss, I think it helps me if I stop thinking about indulging in the wrong foods any chance I get. So far it has been working!
I find changing a few words changes your world. Like I try not to say workout but play time, fun time, time getting move, and social time(walking with a friend). I think of working with the PTball and strength training as performing and circus training. 334
I tend to stick to anything fun. If I'm watching tv, sometimes I'll pick a word I know will occur in the show (For example, for supernatural the word is awesome). If I hear the word, I'll pause the show for a minute and do some sort of healthy exercise: jog in place, crunch, jumping jacks, or drink a glass of water if my intake is low. This helps me to stay on track.
