When I feel depressed I listen to uplifting Christian music or I write poetry to help me deal with emotions but one thing I find that really helps is when I choose to be active because it instantly uplifts me too.

Yes!! Exercise is a miracle tonic. Music also elevates my spirit when I need a little pick-me-up, though my choice is big band.

I was getting very depressed in my body. Felt that the person inside me did not count anymore. I knew she was there but was stuck inside. I was at a store one day and I felt depressed, a stranger simply smiled I smiled back. it felt gr8. I now smile at the person in the mirror.
I keep wonderful music on an ipod, and when i start to feel depressed I play upbeat music. When I am feeling too hyper, I play soothing music. I find that I can change my mood by listening to one or two songs. 252
A vitamin D deficiency is now linked not only to diabetes and heart trouble, but also to depression. If you feel depressed, you probably need B12 and Vitamin D and get 15 minutes of sun per day if you can, or drink 3 - 6 ounce glasses of milk. What you eat can affect mood.
