Every time I eat anything, I put it on a real plate whenever possible!
I don't eat out of bags or even the plastic frozen food trays. I keep a real plate at work and I've even stopped using paper plates at home. For me, this makes everything I eat seem more substantial. Plus, washing the plate when I'm finished tells my brain that I'm done eating!

i know we each hear about eating off smaller plates to help trick your mind that you are eating just as much but off plain plates it did not work but i purchased plates that help me strike up a conversation with my coworkers about my attempts--and so far it is helping cut back with a cuter plate.
