Eating a salad every day helps me get in my veggies, especially when I add tomato, onion, mushroom, cauliflower, etc. Never wanted to eat one a day in previous weight loss attempts, but I'm okay with it now. Helps the family get in good eating, too. If I make everyone a salad, I get no complaints

Consuming salads made from tomatoes, cucumber and other raw vegetables can bring results, especially with a low fat version of vinegar & oil dressing or just add low fat cottage cheese ontop to make moist with no dressing. Choose to focus on the benefits, rather than the sacrifice of having a bit of salad daily.
Eliminate gigantic portions of anything! Eat Slowly & appreciate your dinner! Eat more fruits and veggies, or just have a veggie meal only at least once a week. Avoid sugar, salt, soda and anything white. Snack on 1 ounce of nuts, eat a small salad daily, 100 Calorie bag of popcorn, or a pint of Artic Zero which is only 150 calories for the whole pint. The chocolate tastes like a fudgesicle. Grab some veggie soup when hungry.
