When you're making iced tea...recycle the tea bags. Tea bags are great for reducing swelling around the eyes - I think it's the tannen. Pop the tea bags in the freezer and when you use them it's like an instant spa treatment!

I used to use a lot of diet foods, food that are a low sugar- low calorie counter part to their full caloried cousins, such as Slim Fast Desserts or diet soda with Splenda. These foods while satisfying a craving made me feel low energy.
Now I drink iced teas and enjoy whole foods which are much more satisfying and lack chemical additives.
Put commonly used items in the same cabinet--no more going in circles to do a common task.
I keep my pitcher for making iced tea, the tea bags, and splenda on the same shelf. I make tea probably once a day. We keep our coffee things the same way. I keep breakfast items in one location too! This helps me--especially in the mornings when I'm really not ready for a scavenger hunt!334
If you're into the bad habit of having ice cream then there is a simple solution that can be as good for you as you want it to be. I found this out when I was working at a summer camp. It's fun and delicious without making you feel guilty after! You can also add in fruit (so good).
You need: 1 large and 1 small ziplock bag, salt, ice, 1/2 a cup of milk (whatever kind you drink), a little sugar (to taste), and a little flavoring. Put the milk, sugar and flavoring into the small bag, then the small bag (closed), salt and ice into the big bag. Shake for 10 minutes then enjoy!
