My Nanny used to Oil my hair using either Coconut/Almond/sesame/Mustar d Oil in rotation during my childhood every Sunday morning. She'd then soak a thick Towel in very hot Water, wring it out and tie it around my Hair to steam it.This opens the pores of the Scalp and helps Oil to penetrate deep inside
Leave in the Oil for 1 hour in the Hair. We'd wash our Hair using a mixture of Soapnuts and Shikakai Pods and our final rinse would be a mugful of Water in which a cupful of Vinegar was mixed ----this added a lovely shine to our thick lustrous hair!!!Use a can of Beer (Hops) instead if you wish!!!

your hair gets build up from using the same shampoo all the time.. to get rid of build up you can simply add a couple table spoons of backing soda to a 1/4 cup of your regular shampoo and apply to dry hair and let set, for several minutes....then of course rinse hair in shower like you normaly would. Be sure to use a good conditioned afterward beacuse this takes all the yucky and some mosture out of your hair. Condition and rinse like you normaly would.. and you will notice a healthy diffrence
