  • I have been going to the Y and to my community pool several times a week and swim the length of the pool several times and also tread water. Both feel good when I'm done and I think I am getting a great workout! - by GOLDTAG1
  • I'm just not a big fan of exercise, treadmills, steppers etc BUT this summer I really have gotten into swimming! Instead of dreading going to the gym, I really look forward to my swim workouts. I started off only being able to swim 4 lengths of the pool - now, it's almost September and I comfortably swim 18 lengths of the pool- that's a quarter mile. I'm losing inches for sure- not sure about the scale tho- but I feel great! I've never actually "looked forward" to working out but now I do.   • I have water aerobics class 5 days a week, sometimes I go on Saturday. On Mon.. Wed and Fri. I do the class after my circuit training and it feels real good.
    I have arthritis and did have some bad knees, till I had them replaced, so water exercise is good for those reasons.
    I often go to the pool and swim laps. It's relaxes me to be in the water. - by TUBLADY

  • I go to water aerobics 3 times a week, and this really inspired me. sometimes I feel I'm not getting the good results, that those "on land" get. My joints are bad, so I have no choice, except, I also ride my bike. emoticon - by LESLIE56
