Cross train to reduce boredom and repetition injuries
Cross train - have a variety of exercises - in order to keep your routine fresh and motivating. It will also help to break through plateaus. Triathlon training turned out to be MUCH easier on my joints than just running. And remember there are several components to fitness - muscle endurance, strength, flexibility, aerobic capacity, balance, reaction time... work to improve in all areas.
