Everytime I get a dollar I look at it and see the letter on the dollar if its my initials I bank it. If none of my dollars have my initials well then I dont save it. Sometimes It might be days before I get a few with my initials but its easy to bank a buck or two
I do this for my vacation or unexpected expenses and it come in handy when I need some extra cash for something. Recycle a peanut butter jar for this and put construction paper in the inside so you cant see the money put pictues and decorate it your way if you dont see it usually you wont spend it

Have your bank round up to the nearest dollar or five dollars with each transaction and transfer that change to a savings account. Youll save a few hundred dollars a year without doing anything or noticing.

In October I started to save the change I get and put it in my childs piggy bank. Great way to start saving for them. So far we have over 200 dollars in just change. Now they like to contribute as well. Fun way to save money!! 224
