My fiance is working out of town these days, and it is really easy for me to stay in bed when the alarm on my phone goes off, instead of getting up to work out. I had him record a voicenote for me on my phone, and I use that as the tone that wakes me up.
The message is "Rise and shine, baby. I am so proud of all your hard work." That totally motivates me to get up and keep working hard.

I'm a believer in efficiency so I try to incorporate exercise in general tasks. For example, since I love to stand in the soothing pounding and warmth of the shower I stretch that time a minute by doing 20 toe ups for strengthening the calves. --and then cool down with cold to wake up and start the day. Lunging while putting on deodorant or brushing teeth also works. Call me wierd but slowly building metabolism! 209
When I was at 420 lbs what was my reason for choosing to get where I am
When I reached my heaviest I had a wake up call from my aunt who is now gone to be with God. One is God woke me up to the fact if I kept going this way I would be dead like my dad. Two was my aunt telling I was 160 lbs more than my father when he died. That alone scared me into weight loss.
Now that's she's gone I have chosen to do it in her memory as well as my dad's They would want me to be healthy. God is still by my side. But I can already tell at 50 lbs lighter that walking is a lot easier for me My goal is to walk a 5k in less than an hour this year if possible
The road to success is not straight There is a curve called failure A loop called confusion Speed bumps called friends Red lights called enemies Caution lights called family you'll have flats called jobs But if you have determination An engine called perseverance Insurance called faith A driver called GOD You'll make it to a place called SUCCESS!
