My old boss used to say "how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time" and that has really stuck with me. When I get too much going on and start getting stressed out, I take time out to make a list and "prioritize" what I need to do. Then, I take each item on the list and get them done "one bite at a time".
Place dressing, pancake syrup etc in a saucer and dip the food one bit at a time. You end up using less but still get the taste You want with each bite without drowning Your food. With dressing dipping the fork into the dressing before each bit also helps to give You the taste You like.
You will be surprise how far a tablespoon will go when eating.
I used to get down on myself when I overate or ate forbidden food and then when totally off my eating plan. Not so anymore as I truly do now realize that it happens one bite at a time and that a few too many bites is just a bump in the good health road. 9
