Pick 1 specific goal (etc to do 10 minutes exercise every day), set a time (when I get home from work) and a place - be specific so that it's measureable. Do this for a month then increase by 10 minutes. Stick to 1 goal at a time or it won't become a habit!! Do too much and you lose track.

MORE INFORMATION:
Habits take 30 days to form- if you stick to changing 1 habit, you can then add another when it's a habit- eg uv done 1 month of exercise, now try having less sugar/soda- do it for a month. Keep doing this & ull manage to change your lifestyle.

    Must add- if you try focus on more than 1 change at a time it becomes very easy to lose sight of your goal and it becomes a drag to do- do 1 thing at a time and it becomes a habit- you won't even have to think about it. Then move on to another easy goal and make that a habit too!!

    I have ordered and received my SparkPeople Fit, Firm & Fired Up and Cardio Blast, and on Tuesday, I did 1 20-minute exercise session. My plan is to do a session on Tuesdays and another on Thursdays. I currently work 4 10-hour days, so my Thursday workout may have to change to Friday. From reading comments from you wonderful people who have been on this road much longer than I, I am learning that being flexible is a HUGE part of this battle! Wish me luck!!!!! emoticon
