Almonds have been my saving grace when it comes to getting past the 3pm "snack". They are great in controlling your apetite and giving you that 3pm "crunch". In addition to apetite control they are great for an after workout boost.

I needed to stop for a snack while traveling yesterday and haven't been eating nuts but had read good things about them. I bought a package instead of a candy bar. Looked at the info and decided to eat half the pack to see if that satified me and it did! Really boosted my fiber count for very little calories too!
