I've come to really love exercising and eating healthy because each setback gives me something to look forward to. When I really push myself to improve, the effects are incredible. I feel strong and confident and hopeful.
I started pilates a month ago, and it often feels as though my weaknesses are being rubbed in my face. Still, I absolutely love it. Because I can SEE my progress. When I push my body beyond its current abilities, I am amazed by the progress I do make.

In striving for 10,000 steps a day, I walk the terminal instead of sitting at the gate and waiting for the plane to board.
Face it, planes don't leave early and there are plenty of boards listing departure gates and times to keep checking should your gate or departure time change. Besides - you'll have plenty of time to "sit" on the plane!
Balance and moderation in all that we do is the true secret of a successful life. I have come to realize that even though we constantly strive to be perfect, that our faults are our best teacher. If everyone in the entire world strived to just be the best they could be, there would be more happiness, less war, and greater satisfaction and health within ourselves.
