My secret is to exercise, as soon as I get up and moving. I eat a very small item that I call a breakfast snack, (80 cal yogurt), begin drinking my first glass of water and I'm out the door to exercise. Get it over with and be done.

When the mail comes in, I stand by the bucket and go through it right then and sort it. The bills get put in one area for the day of payment; junk mail gets tossed right away; and then another pile for the things I looked at and want a longer look (magazines, catalogues, etc). I toss all envelopes and unnecessary paper right then and there
The longer look pile goes by my chair in the living room to look at while I watch the news and weather latter that day. Then it either gets tossed or put on my desk if there is something further I need to do (order something, further research or check with someone, etc.
At our house the cook doesn't have to do dishes - unless he/she makes a HUGE mess when cooking. I have found clean up is a lot easier if I run the hot soapy water before I start cooking and wash things up as I go along. Sometimes the only thing left after the meal is the dishes from the table. Makes clean up a lot easier & the added benefit is stuff gets put away right away and no temptation left out for a BLT (bite, lick or taste):)
