Prunes Help Prevent Osteoporosis?
Not just a constipation cure, but the vitamin K, copper and boron in prunes also help prevent osteoporosis! In one study, women who ate about two handfuls daily saw a 57% turnaround in age-related bone loss within three months! My own response to this is just pondering - TWO HANDFULS!!!! DAILY???(smiling) Plan to spend a lot of time in the restroom. But I guess it's worth it for stronger bones.

When I have bone-in chicken or turkey, I save the carcass or bones after I cook and serve the meat as a meal. I cover the bones with water in a large pot (preferably with a little meat left on the bones) and boil the meat and bones with vegetables to make a homemade broth for later use.
MORE INFORMATION:
Use vegetables such as onions, carrots and celery to add more flavor to your broth.
Boil until vegetables are very tender. Pull or scrape off meat from bones and discard bones and gristle.
For a thicker broth, take tender vegetables and blend until liquid and mix back into broth.
Collar bone surfacing, wrist bones prominant, ribs surfacing, oh my gosh I have jaw bones too! More and more bones just keep me going and going! Horray for these new discoveries~ :o)
