I just found that if I start to get bored it is time to get up and move. No more channel surfing when there seems to be nothing on. Instead I walk, ride a bike or go out and work in the yard or garden. emoticon I've been doing it since before joining this site and it has really helped!

  • Good point! I have my elliptical trainer set up facing the tv, but there comes a time when the great outdoors is much more enjoyable than the tv. There are health benefits in getting outside that cannot be duplicated on gym equipment. - by PEGGIE0203
