Since taking our Cable down to just basic tv, I suddenly have a ton of time to exercise.
At first it was really hard because I missed alot of (useless) shows I had gotten addicted to. I used to sit on the couch and wish I had a more active adventurous lifestyle. Now that I don't even have the option of wasting time in front of the TV, I have that more active lifestyle I've always wanted

Last year we had a horrific infestation of big ugly flies. It was night time and my husband noticed that the flies were attracted to the light. He had an idea: He turned off all the lights except the one in the dining room; then he went around the house and swooshed at the flies with a dish towel. All the flies headed for the light. Next he turned on the light in the kitchen and turned off the light in the dining room. He repeated the process, herding all the flies into the kitchen.
Then, he turned on the light in the mud room, and turned off the light in the kitchen. Same thing... the flies were all herded into the mud room. Finally he turned on back porch light and turned off the light in the mud room and herded all the flies right out the door! 104
I use this idea all the "time"![pun intended!]. I have more than one watch and when I'm not wearing the others, I pull "the pin" mechanism on the side to stop the time [as I am not wearing the watch, I don't wish to run the batteries down]. Then ,if I switch watches for the next day, I'll pull the pin on the watch I WAS wearing. And I remember right BEFORE putting the watch on to reset it to the proper time. This may seem like an inconvenient thing to do,but I've found it saves the batteries..
...and makes them last longer! I also turn "off" my watch at night!
