It's all about one day at a time. You can not build a mansion without first learning how to create a frame, build walls, drywall, roofing, tiling, etc. Also, you can not lose weight without first learning how to properly eat, workout and make conscious decisions to improve yourself. It took you years to get to your weight, it's not going to happen overnight, but it will happen one day at a time! Keep up the great work!
Weight Loss Secret of Success - Work Smart, Not Hard
A secret to success for me has been maintaining a daily caloric intake LESS than what SP suggests. I don't do it on purpose but have found most often that I am not hungry enough to consume the 1400-1700 calories each day. This allows me to be a little more lazy with regard to exercise.
Of course, not everyone could or should do this but it's helped me to loose the weight fairly consistently.
